Record BD-13 is a passive DI box used to convert the signal from your high-impedance instruments (guitar, bass, keyboard etc.) into a low-impedance signal. This allows you, via your DI box, to connect your guitar directly to a mixer or audio interface without a preamp, for example. BD-13 has a built-in "ground lift" to avoid ground interference and other signal interference. It is built very solidly in a metal enclosure and is therefore suitable for both live use and the studio.
